Space East provides members with information via monthly mailings. We produce two publications on a bi-monthly basis Raising the Roof and a series of Briefings. These are available to members at the time of publication. Non-members may obtain older publications and briefings via this page. Raising the Roof
Space East's magazine varies between 4 & 12 pages of material, contains articles on housing, supported housing, mental health, substance misuse, legislation, campaigns and funding updates. It is also a way for members to publicise their work and new projects. Space sells advertising space for recruitment and other advertisements.

Submissions
To submit an article or advertisement for Raising the Roof please email us on pippa@space-east.org or telephone Pippa on 01603 617299 for more information. Articles should be in the format of a press release with photographs attached where possible, Photographs can be supplied by email as high resolution jpegs, or as hard copy to be scanned.For advertisements please see the tables below for charges.
Advertising Rates: eighth page - £125, quarter page - £250, half page - £600, Whole page - £800.
Artwork, Publication & Submission dates
If you are submitting a logo and/or text without design please enquire - we can organise advert design for you, please contact Space to order, you may contact starfish directly on 01603 414888 about your advert a charge may be levied to put the advert together. If you are supplying an advert as artwork. Preferred formats are, Quark Xpress 3 - 6.0, Adobe Indesign, Adobe illustrator 5.5 - CS(11), Adobe photoshop tif, jpeg or eps or psd (Please ensure files are at least 300dpi @ s/s and are in CMYK) Also PDF's from Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Distiller or Acrobat (print or press quality with either fonts included or converted to curves). Unacceptable formats include, gifs, png, corel artwork, and microsoft publisher or word. Managing Inclusion Briefings (MIB)
Space provides a short briefing series to our members below are copies of MIB available to download in PDF format. Each briefing provides a ‘nutshell’ information burst with a resources section for further reading and/ or useful contacts. We have covered ‘Housing Drug Users’, ‘The Homelessness Act’ and VHG’s regional conference ‘INTERACT’.
