This website is built using a CSS framework and has been validated by W3C to check compliance, all images have appropriate alt text for screen readers, the navigation is text based to allow for screen reader use and text resizing, alternatively you can access a click here to access a text only version of the site.

Standards we work towards

As an organisation we have committed ourselves to working towards specific standards to ensure a high level of accessibility. We aim to ensure that all pages of our website are written with valid XHTML, and use valid CSS to style each page.

We also validate our pages against the World-Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 1.0. These guidelines offer 3 levels of priority, and we ensure that all of our pages are accessible to all priority 1 and most 2 guidelines. Where possible we also try to attain priority 3 guidelines, which are very difficult to achieve.

The most recent set of W3C guidelines are available here.
