Our key objective is to deliver high quality, flexible and outcome focused services to individual members, members’ service users and both voluntary and statutory organisations. The outcome for our customers and commissioners is the ability to access expertise, research materials, resources and best practice through consultancy, training, best practice briefings and policy updates from the Space East team, facilitating the development of personalised and consistently high quality specialist and support products and services which enable personal development, change management and sustainability.

Space East is engaged in ground breaking work on personalisation which brings us closer to the agenda of the Civil Society, Localism, Citizenship and Community. We promote and embed positive empowering practice. We respond effectively to the needs of individuals and frontline agencies to improve the quality of service design, implementation and delivery and to develop an effective, forward thinking response through ensuring that the services provided are focused on being personalised, recognising each individual and their own particular needs and engaging them in the design and delivery of their services, supporting the development of co-production mechanisms within service providers. We distinguish between the financial implications/models of personalisation (personal budgets/direct payments) and the cultural shift from traditional delivery of services to those based on meeting individual’s needs.
